The Genealogical Society of Riverside is the first genealogical society in the city of Riverside, CA. GSOR was formed in 1965. The MISSION of the Genealogical Society of Riverside is to generate interest among the general public in genealogy, family history research, and the preservation of these records. Deaths in 1916-1917, Riverside, CA, added to the Members page March 29, 2009: Index to Naturalization Records 1921-1929 now posted to the Members page; this is the last of the Naturalizations that we had previously published in the Lifeliner March 20, 2009: Index to Naturalization Records 1911-1920 now posted to the Members page March 15, 2009: The Lifeliner Volume 44, #2 and #3 are now posted to the Members only page! The Publications page has also been updated with our new books, 2 of which will be ready in April. February 10, 2009: Our meeting on Saturday, Feb 14, 2009, will be at the Janet Goeske Center at 11 a.m. and our speaker wil be Caroline Rober. Remember the SEMINAR HAS BEEN CANCELED! February 8, 2009: Added the latest QUERIES from the Lifeliner; added Index to Probate Records 1910-1915 to the Members Page; updated the Table of Contents for the last 3 Lifeliner's; We now have a new book -- Index to Probate Records 1893-1915 and is available in hard copy for $20 or CD in Adobe Acrobat format for $10. I was unable to add the Lifeliner Volume 44, #2 to the Members area as the file was "corrupt" when downloading from the web site--SORRY! February 4, 2009: GSOR 10th Annual Seminar Feb 14, 2009, Canceled due to insufficient pre-registrations.
