What is GSOR Why GSOR
The Genealogical Society of Riverside is the first genealogical society in the city of Riverside, CA. GSOR was formed in 1965.

The MISSION of the Genealogical Society of Riverside is to generate interest among the general public in genealogy, family history research, and the preservation of these records.

New at GSOR

June 17, 2010: GSOR MEMBER DIES -- Long time member Gary Aubuchon died on June 15, 2010, from lung cancer. Memorial Services will be held at the Arlington Mortuary in Riverside on Friday, June 25, 2010, at 10 a.m.

April 18, 2010: The meeting in June has been changed one time only to June 5, 2010, the 1st Sat, so that we may attend the SCGS Jamboree in Burban on the 2nd Sat, June 12, 2010.

April 9, 2010: Lifeliner Volume 45, #2, is now on the Members only page; the Lifeliner Index for Volume 44, #4 and Volume 45 #1 and #2 have now been posted

March 8, 2010: Corona Genealogical Society and the Corona Public Library are presenting genealogy classes the first and third Tuesday of each month from 1-2 p.m. These classes are free and open to anyone in the community. On the other Tuesday's we will be holding Open Workshops where your genealogy questions will be answered and computer help is offered. The classes will be held in the library Computer Learning Center. There are over a dozen computers, connected to the internet, in this room for use in the classes and workshops.
