Church Cemetery, Pleasant Valley, Dutchess County, NY) and first wife Elizabeth Ann WICKS/WEEKS (born about 1760, died 29 Sep 1806, Dutchess Co., NY). Children were: Alexander, b 1787; John, b 1782; Robert, b 1784; Catherine, b 1779; Charlotte I. Children all born TX: male J.M. 1862; female M.A. 1864; female J.A.; G.L. 1869; female Pilinia L. "Pat" (P.L. in census) 1873 (married to Samuel CUNNINGHAM; male C.P.L. 1875; male T.A. 1878 TX. Mary's bro & sis were: Toby Eldridge MIDDELTIN, Charles Middeltin; Ruby Middeltin; Frankie MIDDELTIN (mar a JOHNSON); and a female MIDDELTINn probably married to a MacINTYRE Toby may have lived in "Old Mexico."   • FITZGERALD: Need information on John FITZGERALD, born ca 1826, possibly in New York State. He married Mariah? ca 1851, possibly in Ohio. They were in Gentry and Worth counties in Missouri by 1860. John died during the Civil War, either from battle injuries or disease while in the Union Army.   • BASS/LIVINGSTON/MOSHIER(MOSHER)/HOLCOMB/BROWN: NY 1831--->WI 1850. Seeking additional information on the parents of Sarah Elizabeth BASS b 1834 NY, married to Warren Jarvis HOLCOMB. She had a sister Mariah/Maria/Mary, born 1832 NY, married to Nathan BROWN and lived in Durand, Pepin County, Wisconsin for census of 1860-70-80.

    Sarah and Mariah's mother was Margaret LIVINGSTON (of the famous Livington family of NY, so family says) whose 1st husband was Mr. Bass. Mr. Bass died before 1836 NY. Margaret remarried to James MOSHIER/MOSHER about 1836 NY. By this second marriage she had 4 children: Mary. Harriet (mar James B. BEERS), James, and Hiram--all born NY 1837-1842. The MOSHIER/MOSHER's were in Marquette County WI in 1850 census.

    Sarah married Warren Jarvis HOLCOMB abt 1852 (WI?). Children: Alma 1853 WI; Alfred 1855 IL; James 1858 IA; *Frances Flora 1860 La Salles County,IL; resided 1870 census LaSalle County,IL with Nelson HOLCOMB, a nephew to Warren; 1880 census not found in it; 1900 census Sarah and Nelson both residing with Sarah's son Alfred in Woodbury Co,IA. Sarah died at home of her daughter Frances (HOLCOMB)TRITES in 1917 at Atchison Co, MO. Sarah and Warren not found in a census together and I have no marriage date/place for them.   • EMANUEL/WRIGHT/CORUM/STEPHENS: Marion County SC-->KY 1830--18?? Seeking info on marriage details and additional children of Thomas EMANUEL and Drissellene WRIGHT. Can find no marriage record or them together in a census. Thomas listed alone in 1850 census Marion Co.SC age 20. They had at least one child Janie EMANUEL who married Wardell CORUM 1857 Fulton or Ballard Co,KY. Janie b 1857 SC and still living in 1904 when she signed consent for her dau Verna CORUM to marry Albert Crawford STEPHENS. Seeking information on the ancestors and descendents of William McCOY(d bef 1850) and wife Susannah LEWIS (b abt 1806 TN, d 1881, Howard County, IN). Children all born TN (county unknown): Calvin, 1822, m Julia; Reuben Manley, 1823/24, m Cordelia COBB, and 2nd (name unk); Elizabeth, 1827/30,; John, 1827/1833, a Charity; *Richard, 1832, m Mariah JONES (dau of Pleasent & Lucy (COBB) JONES; Polly Ann, 1834, m A. Murphy; Margaret/Mahala, 1836/37; Mary Ann, 1839, m Elkhana or Zenas M. POWELL; William, 1842, m Louvinia J. ROSIER. Susannah and children were in Howard County, TN, by 1847 according to land records. Listed in 1850 census for that county with no father.

    Richard McCOY & Mariah JONES mar 1851 and had 3 children: *Mary Ann "Polly Ann" b 1852, m ElishCOBB (res St Joseph, MO); Sarah Jane b 1855, m James Martin COBB (move to CA abt 1900); Susan/Susannah b 1857, m Obediah John TRUEBLOOD & John APPLE (TRUEBLOODs in 1880, St Clair Co., MO, APPLEs in 1900 Saguache, CO.). After Richard died abt 1858-60, Mariah remarried, to John Martin COBB.

    According to the TRUEBLOOD FAMILY IN AMERICA, Susan McCOY was a "Quaker in her youth". Since Mariah JONES came from a long line of Baptists, I have to assume the Quaker line came thru the McCOY side. Anyone have anything on their being Quakers? Kathy Stephens, posted 09/15/1998

J.C. b abt 1834 Hickman County,KY. Mary b abr 1841 TN. J.C. and Mary married abt 1856 IL or KY. In census 1860-70-80 Hickman County, KY. In 1860 J.C.'s mother resided with them---Elizabeth age 66 b SC. Children of J.C. and Mary---all born Hickman County,KY except 1st child born IL: John A 1857; James R 1860; Joseph 1863; William A 1865; *Albert Crawford 1869; Luther 1871; Avery 1874; Lee 1876; Mary Clemmie 1881. J.C. & Mary both died abt mid 1880's Hickman Co.KY. When they died they left minir children--who had guardinaship of those minors? J.C could possible be a relation of Abraham STEPHENS of Wolf Island (in Ms River), KY. Father Of John Crawford was Jonathan Stephens. Jonathan STEVENS resided 1850 Monroe County, Arkansas.

    Would also like to correspond with ANYONE who has any STEPHENS family in Hickman County, Kentucky. I am trying to find out if all the Stephens in that area were related in some way to each other and to Jancy Crafford (or John Crawford, Crawford, J.C.) STEPHENS (1830-1882). They had three children: Jesse Raymond Hale b 1917, PA, d 21 July 1981 in Riverside County, CA. Last known residence Hemet, CA, m Dolores Kogut, possibly in CA; Elinor L. b . 1919; and Norman b abt 1921. Will share family history information traced to 18th century England.
