Mrs. Catherine Shuckhart, wife of Mr. Charles Shuckhart, died at her home 18 West Harrison street, Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, after an illness of over a year with dropsy. The deceased was born in Dresden, O., August 6, 1856, and was married to Mr. Charles Shuckhart, and from this union seven children were born, five of whom are still living, being three sons and two daughters, William, George and Charles, and Mrs. Lamar Armstrong and Miss Bessie Shuckhart of this city. Besides these she leaves three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Elizabeth Shuckhart of Galveston, Texas, and Mrs. Augusta Clark of Washington, D. C.; Mrs. May Lofland of this city, and Daniel Hardy of Penargyl, Pa. . The deceased was a member of the Trinity Episcopal church of Dresden, and was a woman who was highly esteemed by all who knew her. . The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. J. C. Schindel, at the late home of the deceased, 16 West Harrison street, on Wednesday morning at 7:30 o'clock, after which the remains will be taken to Dresden, where they will be interred in the cemetery at that place. The surviving members of the family have the sympathy of all their friends in their great sorrow." . . . "Mrs. Chas. Shuckhart Dies Sunday Afternoon After Four Years' Illness . Mrs. Katherine Shuckhart, wife of Charles Shuckhart, died at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon after a year's illness of dropsy, aged 48 years. She leaves a husband and five children, William, George, Charles, Mrs. LeMar Armstrong and Miss Bessie, all of Newark. There are also three sisiters and one brother who survive. . The funeral will take place from the late home on Harrison street at 7:30 o'clock Wesnesday morning, Rev. J. C. Schindel conducting the services. The remains will be taken to Dresden for burial." .
