Lyne, William -- Capt. Wm. Lyne died at his home in Ft. Wayne, Ind., on
Tuesday evening, March 6th., 1894, aged 74 years.  His remains were brought to
this place on Thursday.  The funeral took place at 3 p.m. on Friday from the
residence of his brother-in-law, H.O. Sheidley, on South Main Street.  The
service was, by request of the deceased, entirely Masonic and was performed by
Bellville Lodge, No. 376.   Mr. Lyne was born in London, England, came to this
country when 16 years of age, settling near Detroit.  He afterward lived in
Cleveland and Monroeville, from which place he came to Bellville, where for
many years he was a leading citizen.  The later years of his life have been
spent in Ft. Wayne.  His wife, whose maiden name was Rebecca Le Fevre, and who
at the time of her marriage to Capt. Lyne was the widow of John Markey,
survives him.  Among the relatives from abroad who attended the funeral of
Capt. Lyne, were Mr. & Mrs. R. Lantz and son, James, of Garrett, Ind.;  Mrs.
Jennie Armstrong and son, Lemar, of Newark;  and Mrs. A.R. Lydy and children
of Chicago Junction.

Lyne, William -- Bellville.  Wm. Lyne, a former citizen of this place, died at
his home in Ft. Wayne on Tuesday evening, March 6th.  His body will be brought
here for interment.  The funeral will take place on Friday and will be under
the auspices of the Bellville Masonic Lodge, of which body Mr. Lyne was a
charter member.
