Notes for Fannie L. LIENGME

!Obituary:  Fannie L. Liengme (Limb) daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Limb, was
born in Palme r Twp, Washington County, May 1, 1849.  After the death of her
mother at the age of 38 year s she came to Windsor Twp, Morgan county, making
her home with her sister, Mrs. Susan Coleric k.

In the year 1874, Sept 18, she was uknited in marriage with Cyrus Cheadle.  To
this union wa s born one child, Lorana.

She united with the Oakland M. E. church some 45 years ago under the pastorate
of L. G. Mathe ny.  She remained a faithful and consistent member until death
claimed her and she heard th e welcome message, "come up higher." and gladly
folded her tent and silently stole away in th e early hours of Monday morning,
November 9th.  She was of a quiet and unassuming dispositio n and loved her
home.  But wherever sickness or trouble was, she was always found with a chee
erful and helping hand.

She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, one daughter, one granddaughter
and two great gra nddaughters, besides a host of relative and friends.  She is
not dead.  She had only crosse d over to God's better country.

Another Obituary

Mrs. Cyrus Cheadle, aged 76 , died at her home at 12 o'clock Sunday p. m. from
cancer of th e stomach.  She was of French parentage, the daughter of J. B.
and Julia Liengme, and was bor n in Washington county.  She is survived by her
husband and one daughter, Mrs. Lorana Matthew s, and one granddaughter, Mrs.
Marie Yarnell, of Roxbury.  Funeral sevices were conducted b y Rev. Floyd Gale
at the M. P. church, Tuesday afternoon and burial was made in the Sockpor t
cemetery.  Those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mrs. Ella
Cheadle, of Beverl y; Mrs. Chris Matthews, of Marietta; Mrs. Emmett Matthews
and Mrs. Jack Anderson, of Zanesvil le;  GEorge Milner and wife of Waterford.
